Why skip the phone number?
- Your phone number is tied to your name, your bank and your other accounts. Giving it to every new contact or group spreads it far.
- Many people do not want to give their number to a seller, a class group or someone they just met.
- Some people use a tablet or computer with no SIM card at all.
Sign up in four steps
- Install MyGalaxy from Google Play, or open app.mygalaxy.global in any browser.
- Choose your username (8 characters or more).
- Set a PIN.
- Write down your 12-word recovery phrase and keep it safe. It is shown only once.
That is all. Share your username so people can find you. You can add a phone number later if you want, and hide it at any time.
