Acceptable use policy

Do not use MyGalaxy to

• break the law, or help someone else break it;
• share content that sexually exploits or endangers children, in any form;
• promote terrorism, violent extremism or violence against people;
• harass, bully, threaten, dox or impersonate others;
• share intimate images of someone without their consent;
• send spam, scams, phishing, malware or unwanted bulk messages;
• sell illegal goods or services, such as drugs, weapons or stolen data;
• infringe other people's copyright, trademarks or privacy;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to get around the security of the service.

Groups and channels

Admins and channel owners are responsible for what they allow in their spaces and must remove illegal content when they see it.

What we do

We review reports, can remove content we can see (such as public channel posts and profiles), and can limit, suspend or close accounts. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, as the law requires. We cannot read end-to-end encrypted messages, so a report includes the reported messages to help us act.
